For me, English is more than a subject—it’s a gateway to confidence, independence, and global opportunities. It opens doors to new careers, travel, study, and connections across cultures. That’s why I have developed a dynamic teaching approach that’s already helped hundreds of learners gain confidence, pass exams, and fall in love with English—no matter what their starting point.

For over a decade, I’ve been dedicated to teaching English with energy, creativity, and proven results. My journey began in secondary and middle schools, and after redundancy, I embraced self-employment so I could focus entirely on what matters most: helping learners succeed. Since then, I’ve

• Taught children online in China, inspiring language skills and cultural connection

• Supported students outside mainstream education with personalised learning

• Delivered functional skills English courses to adults and children

• Helped teenagers master GCSE English with tailored strategies

• Prepared non-native English speakers for the Life in the UK Test, helping them gain citizenship and thrive in the UK

• Worked nationwide with learners through one-to-one tuition and small group classes

I specialise in working with neurodivergent learners, creating accessible and engaging teaching that empowers every student. This includes working with learners with:

• ADHD – structured, stimulating lessons to boost focus and retention

• Autism – clear, predictable teaching methods to build confidence and reduce anxiety

• Dyslexia – multi-sensory approaches to improve reading, writing, and comprehension

• Other learning difficulties – customised strategies to meet unique learning needs
